nah my 4.03mm sticks out less than 1in. It still puts mud on the hood! stock is like 5.93mm I think?

do you mean 5.93"? 5.93mm is about --- <------- that long, (i measured it, lol)

If stock backspace is 5.93" we can round to 6", so to answer the question the wheel will stick out about 3/8" more than it currently does.

Backspace is a measurment taken from a straightedge across the back of the wheel to the mounting flange of the wheel. so with a 6" backspace there would be 6" between the point where the wheel mount to the hub and the most inside edge of the wheel hoop.

Exactly what helms said, but also don't forget to factor in the wheel width.

For example, you can purchase a wheel with the exact same backspacing as your stockers, but if it is a 2 or 3" wider wheel then it will stick out, well, 2 or 3 wider than the stocker.

So, a simple calculation of the stock wheel backspacing/width and the new wheels backspacing/width can tell you exactly how far the new tire/wheel will stick out compared to stock (or stick in depending on the measurements). If you cant figure it out, post the numbers here and one of us will let you know.

Thanks for fixing that for me.
