Cam sensor is in the dist, under the rotor, and crank is on the pass. side of the motor in the bell housing. Kinda hard to see and replace.

oh you mean the pick up coil in the dist. well that's definitely getting replaced this weekend because I've always thought to do this but everyone said that I shouldn't until I start getting multiple or random misfires. Well now is the time.

autolites although I just bought a set of those E3's and plan on installing then once the wires come in. since i installed those headers i've been trying to move them out of the way of the heat. i have a suspension lift and the body lift allows a pretty decent flow of air throught the fener well around the shock tower.

For what? It's not the plugs. And the E'3s are a waste of money. Get some Champions and be done with it. One of those sensors is bad or the wiring to them.IMHO.

Well Zman there's others out there besides you and in case you didn't know that's one of the benfits of a FORUM not to mention the definition of one. No one forced you to look at my thread again although I greatly appreciate the info you have given. I will check on these items and get back to you on what I find. Vehicle diagnosis is no different than medical, the different illnesses can share the same symptoms however to narrow it down a specific one it requires input from different sources (ie. x-ray, ct scans, mri, labs, ekg, specialist, etc.). Do not know what " IMHO" means but if it's anything like your intro I know it can't be good. If you want I will find, hunt down, and bring to you the person that p!ssed in your cheerios as a Force Recon Marine I was good at doing that.
