i ran mine through the TCase boot, unscrewed it and put the cable through, and screw it back down, and you can snake the cable through the front bed wall, i just cant remember it or easily explain it
ill take a pic tomorrow and post it
I can run it through that grommet in the front but I dont have enough coax to reach. when you ran it through your transfer case boot did it interfere with the shifter or anything?

nope, just be sure to route it away from everything under the truck that moves

Ok I was thing on top of the dash and just put a cover on it to hide the wires.

I mounted mine on the drink holder. Mine was broken so i mounted the cb there and bought a walmart drink holder to sit in the floor. This is just temporary though since I just pulled a drink holder and dash out of a 99 ram so when I get a chance im gonna mount it in front of the middle seat.
