Transmission problems - ANY Ideas???
1998 Dodge 1500 Ram 5.9L - auto trans
This problem seems to occur only in the mornings when the truck is cold and juices are flowing but still a little thick... (reminds me of me). You can be either on a grade or level surface and when starting from a stop it is like the transmission is in neutral, give it some gas there will be a sudden jump and off she goes. On start up it takes off fine, just that first stop sign or red light and it hesitates.
Any ideas? or should I wait for bailout money?

there are 2 sensors in the tranny that are common to go out. One monitors the line pressure and I forget what the other one is, swap them both and you will probably be fine. search the DIY threads for any info on it, I think some is posted in there but not 100% sure.
