Ok so i just went do to my shop and took the front wheels off and yes the passengers side coil is broke at the base of the spring i didnt see anything wrong with the drivers side, also the passengers side ball joints were shot (alot of play up and down). So i guess i will be calling up the dealership that i bought it from.

Carfax is a joke, I'll never pay for it again. When I was shopping for a Ram originally, pulled a carfax on one with 68k. I noticed the hood didn't seem to line up quite right, which is why I pulled the report. Nothing at all negative on the carfax. Asked to see the title (small hack dealership) and it was a salvage title.

Unfortunately, since it's been more then 36days, you're SOL. The safety certificate is only valid for that period. If you would've noticed this in that period, the mechanic that signed off on the safety could have his licence revoked.
The dealer will simply tell you to suck it now most likely.
What dealer was this? I'd talk to them first, and then talk to the media to give them some really bad publicity.

Most of the work was done under insurance, but the items that I had done were done at a body shop that give you the option of whether or not to record this type of repairs.
Carfax had settled a class action suit a few years back because the advertising had everyone believing that the reports were gospel. If you go into any sleazy car dealers lot they'll have a copy of the newspaper article covering that handy to show any customer who asks for one.
Oddly enough, friend with a (lot) dealer license I piggy backed off of to get my ram at wholesale a few years back has the article handy.... coincidence? lol
