pull the fuse or disconnect the battery.
check the headlight on/off switch. they are prone to go bad.
you can get a replacement at autozone, advance, etc.

well i pulled the fuse out from under the hood to keep them off when needed. I will try the headlight switch but its the high beams that are on ,and even with the lights actually turned on by the switch, you cannot fluctuate between high and low beam.my buddy was wondering about a loose ground. i work at carquest so either way parts i wont have a problem buying but it is embarassing to have to pop the hood everytime you wanna go somewhere at night

Could that be a bad relay?

Well im sure you guys will know better but i have been told that there is no relay on these trucks just the fuse under the hood. I tried changing that fuse as well and it didnt change a thing.

no relay.
i doubt that its a loose ground.
you've got the headlight sw performing the on/off function.
then you've got the multifunction sw on the column doing the hi/low.
did both of your problems start at the same time, or has the hi/low problem always been there ?
headlight sw is easy to replace.
multifunction takes a couple of hours and you'll need a set of security torx after you finally get the damn covers off the column.
