Beautiful 98 Ram Versus Mesquite
I have, until just a few weeks ago, a beautiful 98 Ram 1500 QC 4X2. I bought a piece of heaven, here in Az, that is covered in mesquite and bramble briers. I have to drive through a mile of these things to get to my land. I'm building a house there and everytime I go there, I come out with hundreds of scratches all over the sides of my truck. When I run it through a car wash that uses the brushes, it rubs 90-95% of the scratches out. I know this is going to eventually put permanent scratches all over my truck. I have been thinking of 2 alternatives. 1) Diamond plate aluminum, up to the door handles. 2) Spraying bedliner protector up to the door handles(less preferred). Anyone here know a better way to protect my Ram from the evil thorny menace?
Property Maintenance? trim them back. those brambles murdered my jeep GC's paint too. or maybe try this http://www.duplicolor.com/products/shield.htmlidk how well it works...
