BTW you said you want it running tip top? The pooping means that your sensors are working and the computer is responding correctly.

How about disconnecting the temp sensor so it never "warms up" ... temporarily of course.

Seriously though, not to hijack the thread, but a side question for Purpl... how do you like the Bilstein shocks?

Don't drive around with it like that. Serious loss of mileage... not that we are too concerned about that, driving pickup trucks, but still...

Sorry for the newb ??'s man, kinda new to the Dodge thing.

Would that be an intake air temp sensor on the intake manifold I'm looking for?

I should really pick up a service manual for this beast now that I'm going all in I suppose.

Seems like a pretty overwhelming consensus here. They all are doing it. I guess I'll leave well enough alone and quit worrying about it then. Thanks to all who replied.

All the trucks do it, but those that run stock or OEM type mufflers wont really notice it. Those that have a more open muffler will defiantly notice it. Mine will do the same thing if I am hauling a heavy load and I engine brake it.

It's normal. You can really hear it on straight piped trucks.
