Default putting on hoodscoops

So I picked up two lund hoodscoops with the racerback I decided not to go with. Paid $20 for them. I have them primed and a couple light coats of colour matched paint on them. Just wondering how you guys think I should position them on the hood. In these pics they sit nice and flat with the hood shape, but I think I'd like them closer to the front. The back edge of them lines up nicely with the back of the hood when set back, but I don't like them that far back. What do you think?

the whole truck. I'm soooo glad I went with the rollbar instead of the racerback. Just need lights on it now.

Pull 'em back a couple of inches. Too close to the front looks a little goofy.

On second thought, you have to live with it ... do it how YOU like it ... or you'll hate it.

Non functional tape affixed accessories, that actually ADD drag.

Nice.

Put them where you want man, its your rig. As for me though, i HATE fake hood scoops. I think they look tacky, you can tell theyre fake, and everyone has them. Need to get a real scoop .

lol

not that worried about a tiny bit of drag buddy. It's not a space shuttle, although it's built better. Is this the best you can come up with?

I figured you'd have the first reply.... so close

If anything, id suggest pulling them back so they come to the edge of your hood (to wards windshield) so they look like theyre more of a part of the hood than just slapped on.
