its the 5.9 v8. not sure about gears. i didnt really think 35's would cause a problem. if that motor can't turn 35's.......them maybe i miss judged RAMS, lol...NO OFFENSE.

I was just wanting something to fill the fender up. its funny my stock 2500 sits higher then my buddies jeep on 35's. He was pissed we both got our new rides today and mine sits taller stock, lol.

He wants to sell me the 35's and go with 33's cause he's got a baby 4 banger in that jeep, and like i've said....the rear looks to accmodate w/ no problems, but the front is iffy by a couple inches, so was wondering if I leveld the front end if that would give me enough room to put them. I really don't want to have to do anything special IE cutting/trimming or a massive offset to do this, just whatever will fill them up.

But from what you guys are saying.........35's will fit no problem under it being stock......good news for me. I might do the level just cause and 35's.

Also, I'm going to do a trans cooler in a couple months.....then start doing the tlc....... paint the frame/underbody......and do some interior work to it

thanks for all the help........

HEY--- If anyone has a link to some pics, or could post some of STOCK rams with 35's so I could get an idea/peek at the look....i would LOVE that..

It's not the motor that can't spin the tires. It's the ring and pinion gears. If you got 4.10s then go for it. If you got 3.55s It'll still go but it'll be a dog.

Duh ... 2500's came with 15" rims? He wanted to know if a 35-12.5-15 would fit.

You asked how many lugs. Its a 2500 they have 8. I can read sometimes. I did pick up on that I don't see why 15" rims shouldn't fit. They fit on 1500.
