spark plug problem

I agree, it isn't the best way. But I have done it to many peoples different vehicles over the last 3 decades, yes I'm getting up in the old department. Most of the chips will self extract while you are drilling. And by using a vacuum with some sort of homemade adapter to suck up the chips while you are drilling, will keep what gets in the cylinder to a minimum. Duct tape and a 1/2" or 3/4" two or three foot long piece of heater hose works pretty good for that. Then add some 3/8 copper tubing to that so you can bend it a little to get down in the cylinder. Do it quickly so you don't fry the vacuum cleaner motor, LOL. A small magnet with a hole in it, tied to a piece of mechanics wire works good too. And lets not forget that it's a 95, so it's time is limited anyway.

I totally agree i love my ram. i got it fixed didnt need the heli-coil just tapped it real good and sucked out what i could and let it run with the plug out 4 a minute. as far as its time is limited my dad has a 95 360 that is almost at 400k still purs like a kitten and it barely burns oil.

The engine is one thing, what about the rest of the truck?
