i made a plate and put between the tube and exhaust and havent had any problems.....alll sensors and stuff are still in place......

whats the point though? other than the ability to be able to use a non egr intake manifold?

I need to find a junk yard and try this. I here its worth most of the time. If you get a fastmann and than superchip than some 1.7's that would make our trucks come alive.

Unless the Superchips 3815 screws up your tune. Just updated mine this past weekend from Superchips update program, retuned the truck... now I have an engine miss. First thought it was the O2 sensor, so replaced that. No change, so I detuned the truck back to stock, and no problems. Runs great. Only when tuned and in open loop (before the computer checks the O2 sensors) is there an issue.

Emailed Superchips and posted on the Superchips forum. This is my test, I guess, of Superchips customer service. We'll see how they do.

well, it blocks off hot air from coming in....if that helps or not and allows me to use my $35 non-egr headers
