runnin lights

Default runnin lights

i see that some of u guys on here have runnin lights on the roof of ur trucks. how much were they? where did u buy em? an how hard were they to install

u have to cut holes into yr roof run some wires a few clips here and there a relay and a ground wire for each light and a fuse.

IDK I think so or pepboy yea one of them look in the DYI there should be a right up. Or check up pavementsucks.com?

You can get them pretty much anywhere... I got mine from Amazon. I went with the Recon 3rd Gen smoked lights. They were about 80 bucks. You can get some cheaper - I think I found some Pacer 3rd gen lights for 30 bucks...

Do some searching for "cab lights" or "clearance lights" and you'll find lots of sites selling them.

$20 for the entire kit lights and all from Advance Autoparts way more if you want the fancy shmancy Recon brand. Install wasn't bad some drilling required and pull down the front of your headliner along with sunvisors. Measurement is the key ingredient. I centered the middle light with the rearview mirror where it glues to the windshield and went from there. If you can find a 3/4 or 1 ton truck measure the intervals between the lights and mark it. Before drilling set them up and stand back and look at them. The outer 2 have a slight angle outward. Hopefully this helps.
