All you need to do is be gentle on the gas in turns, best way is to basically coast through sharp corners. You will notice "binding" and tire chirping most likely when pulling into parking spots and doing other tight radius turns. On the road you will only notice it when you tromp the gas while turning.

You'll love it!

If it's on dry pavement, you'll get your tires chirping since they will both turn at the same speed (instead of the outside going faster then the inside one). Doing this, will cause you to fishtail in the wet and snow (I do it constantly on purpose) but will also cause additonal wear on your tires. The locker is very strong. I've put mine through some good abuse in offroading, yanking trucks out of mud holes, etc.

If you floor the gas in a turn on dry pavement and your tires don't loose traction, you'll get jerkiness since they will skip and hop.

Thats exactly what i wanted to hear! When it rains, i drift around just about every turn (that i wont cause an accident at)... but with the open diff its probly still just the one wheel turning. So i will deffinately be getting a locker as soon as i can afford it... i still dont know the price range but ill just be looking for good bargains. I also have to replace my tires so im gonna have some fun before that day comes.
