So I jumped..well crawled underneath...bolts a little loose. I don't have a tool to measure the torque so I gently tightened each bolt..about 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Cleaned it up, added more fluid (was below min) and now just gonna have to watch it.

Well it least you saw it now not later. The under side of the truck looks new with all that fluid on the under side of it. How much fluid do you think you lost? I would also recommend a mechanics creeper. I'm a big guys as well much better than trying to slide under it.

your pan doesnt even look that bad, i think thats all dirt...mine looks worse than that lol regardless...just make sure they are good and tight...drive it for a while...check for leaks...then tighten them again while the truck is still warm.

Hey guys and one lady, right? Anyway...thank you for all the help and suggestions...why I love this site and even talk about it at work!

I am not noticing fluid now...a little sweat but not much at all! so I guess it was just loose bolt...from 4wding? I'll just have to keep an eye on it!

BTW what are people's experience with the deep pan? any noticeable improvements or any comments out there?!?

so did you replace the gasket, or just tighten the bolts up?
I am having the same issue on mine, and I will tighten the bolts up and a couple of weeks later Ill have to tighten them up again. Just wondering what you actually did....
