As soon as you apply the second coat, pull the tape while it is still wet. The lining is thick enough to not run and it will be wet enough to not create a seam on the tape.

when I did the rocker panels I took a air powered sanded to the side and bed of the truck and my neighbor was washing his dodge ram. He looked over and gave me the weridest look cause i was taking a sander down the truck. I did that so it would stick better.

too much money. herculiner is cheaper and easy to do.

Hey blueram, What kind off hauling do you do? I want to do this but I haul alot of trees and debris. how do you think It would hold up?

line-x will hold up a lot better.. but runs about $600-800

hurculiner is about $100 and will last about 3-5 year before needing another few coats.. I will be doing another coat this summer.. might do a DIY

im gonna do it like i said, for the few reasons that it will look better than cutting thru a rubber mat when i put a hitch in, and my bed is scratched to ****
