Quick bastard! Its a joke. Get over it! Tell me, why can't you laugh? I'm here for the long run!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, compare the video of the Ford to the Ram. I wish I could I could find the crash test video of the 88-98 Chevy. That would be a more accurate comparison.

I hear Darwin calling you from his grave.
How do you figure? It gets a better rating than the Ford and Chevy of the same year range. That was one reason why I chose the Dodge over the other two.

Not true. Silverado's got the best safety ratings for the generational period. Their 99-2006 trucks averaged Marginal as opposed to the F-150 and Ram 1500 rating Poor.

Before you try to kid yourself that these trucks are safe, take a good look at those pictures. The floorboard caving in is exactly why a Lt.CDR's son I know is now a paraplegic, all thanks to his hella safe 1999 Ram 1500.

The actual NHTSA website shows slightly different ratings. Here are ALL trucks for the 2001 Model year.

http://www.safercar.gov/portal/site/...002fd17898RCRD

Kinda hard to make a comparison using their data as their testing is incomplete.

One that stands above the rest is Ford's F150 4door. Both categories of frontal impact are 5 star.

Lets face it, nobody buys a 1990's truck for it's safety.

Viper, answer his question!!! Why the **** do you have a Dodge Ram? You seem to really hate them.
