How do you figure? It gets a better rating than the Ford and Chevy of the same year range. That was one reason why I chose the Dodge over the other two.

Before you try to kid yourself that these trucks are safe, take a good look at those pictures. The floorboard caving in is exactly why a Lt.CDR's son I know is now a paraplegic, all thanks to his hella safe 1999 Ram 1500.

Kinda hard to make a comparison using their data as their testing is incomplete.
One that stands above the rest is Ford's F150 4door. Both categories of frontal impact are 5 star.
