Default Ever take a steering wheel off?

Im looking to put a custom billet steering wheel on, i've heard taking the stock steering wheel off is a bitch, anyone have experience?

ihae done it before and it was so simple i di it in like 5 seconds, you just got to go toa autoparts store to either by or borrow the sterring removal kit.

Really its that easy My Airbag is Broken so i thought of also replacing my steering wheel but I dint think i could has anyone actually replaced there's with a custom wheel What do i do with the cruise buttons???? THANKS

I didnt think it would be easy, wont the airbag go off or something?

The air bag must be disabled.
a-turn ignition switch off.
b-disconnect negative (ground) cable from battery. Both batteries on diesels.
c-wait at least two minutes for the backup power supply to be depleted before beginning any work.
Copied from the Haynes manual.
