Plus lv360ram says there should be 8 pins in a connector where I have 3.
The 3 wire connector you see is prolly the P N switch which horizontal in the side of the case. The 8 wire connector is vertical and higher up the case.

I concur and agree you have a 46RE. (nice rhyme, huh?)

Thanks everyone. RE it is!. Call the dealer, plus all the help here.

Great reminders about the aux cooler ad check valve. Is there a good procedure to flush those lines radiator and aux cooler?

Pretty sure I'm just going to find a used tranny.
Does anyone know if there is a cross reference for this swap. The RE ran many years.
So I'm looking for a 1996 up until what year?

Converter or pump failure. Hopefully you have gotten it rebuilt or found a used one by now. I just received your pm.
