Rear Posi and Front Locker
depends on your driving habits.
if you drive on paved roads in 4wd, get an LSD.
if you NEVER drive on paved roads in 4wd, (or you got big $) get a locker
if you get a locker and you can afford it, get a selectable locker, and then leave it unlocked on paved roads. otherwise it'll slide through a turn and you'll end up in the ditch. the lockers require friction to unlock and roll through a turn. on ice or packed snow you may not get that friction, and the tires spin/slide instead of turn/roll.

I've got a Powertrax no-slip in my 4x2 and it has been great. However, you do need to adjust your driving habits and be easy around the corners, or you will get some chirping. Traction is 100% better.
I have heard Detroits are better and they offer more options in types of lockers, but I have no personal experience with them.

If your not going to get into huge tires and lots of horsepower then a powertrax no-slip
will work great in the rear end. However, if you plan on doing either one or both you
should get a detroit because they are strong as hell. I personally would not get a full time
locker or a lsd unit in the front axle, I would get a selectable locker. That way you can
have the road manners of an open diff in the front with the option to fully lock it under
poor traction conditions.

I want to build my truck up for the mud. I plan on doing a lift and eventually getting a stroker kit once its paid off. I live in Pa so the winter very but this past year I don't ever remember driving around in 4wd in snow unless I had too.
You do NOT want to run a front locker in the mud, because you willl not be able to steer your truck. I've even kinda rethought having a LSD in the front for mudding.
If I were you, I'd visit with people locally who run in mud and ask what they run.
A good locker tends to make any 2wd truck as capable as an open diffed 4x4 or one with a rear LSD in many situations

My buddy he is going to put my new gears in. He said pay someone to do the locker. He built a mitsubishi eclipse that ran 153pmh at 11.30 with 28 lbs of boost.
