I honestly don't see what the problem is. just have patients and take it one step at a time. Be sure to DOUBLE CHECK THE WIRES ONE AT A TIME!!! In my younger, more naive days, I accidentally swamped the #7 with the #3 wire. It ended up idling rough and ultimately since it was running rich, it cracked my cat into a bunch of pieces. Had to buy a new one.

I hate that job too
. Anytime I work on the engine, I put my car ramps on both sides so I can reach anything in the engine bay. I also use fender covers to protect the paint. Good idea about removing the TB. May try that next time.
+1 JackJ. A good mechanic will learn to "see" with his hands. That's why I hate using gloves -- can't feel anything

I don't have a problem spending some extra cash and NO one on here can agree on good plugs.

I know what you mean about no one agreeing on plugs, but here's the thing.
Dodge - Champions
Fords - autolites
Chevys - AC Delco
and that's all there is too it.

I didn't use the loom, but I may put it back on there just for extra protection.
As for the routing, I didn't use the same routing at all really. I just sort of did whatever since I had all the wires off. Just make sure you use the same length wires obviously. And make sure they're not laying on the exhaust manifold or that they can't bounce around too much. You don't want your fancy new wires to melt.

If i may offer on plugs suggestion, Autolite makes a good plug for our trucks , I think its the 3882 , someone chime in and correct me. Right now im running the bosch irridium fusions +4, I mean the truck runs, and urns smooth , but i would advise against it. But i agree , Champion / Autolite are the plugs u should deffiently put in.
Im waiting to do my cap and rotor to change plugs , because my headers make changing the 8th and 7th almost impossible.
