Default 1/4 mile times

Hey guys,

What are normal 1/4 mile times for an dodge SS/T?
This saturday i was on the track to do some runs, and i get:
1/4 : 15.01
0-60 : 7.33

I think this is pretty quick for a truck.

And one other question, what would you guys do, i took the 20 inch rims off and drive on the stock 17 inch now and this drive much better.

I have no idea what kind of ram that is. My 2500 with v1o does 0-60 in 7 seconds sometimes and others it can be as slow as 9. I bet your truck is lighter and could probably be made to go faster without much effort.

I looked it up last night. the only differences were the obvious racing strips, and a little more umph from the 5.9 from the factory. (HP ratings were uped to 245) They were only produced in 1997-1998, and in very limited quantities. They were the based after the INDY RAM produced the years before.

I think that these trucks would become more like a collector truck, kinda like the 05 SRT truck that was only made the one year.

you got it right... the "traps" are the finish line timing beams. i think 15s are pretty good for a truck, what do those weigh? they must be close to 5000lbs, not bad at all.

what are your 60' times, 2.40ish? your trap speed is closer to a high 13 second pass, too bad the truck is so heavy.

How does your track calculate 0-60 times? i have never heard of that before.

The 0-60 time is a time i read on the G-Tech. I know the G-tech is not 100% accurate but when i compare it with the track times there is not much difference between them.

The 60 Feet time is 10.183.

Maybe the last owner from the truck did some mods to the truck that i dont know?
