Hmmm, if everyone's dipstick top is black, then I know that I have the wrong one. My tranny dipstick also has a yellow top, but it reads correctly for the tranny fluid.

Does anyone have a yellow top oil dipstick for a 2001 5.9?

I'll have to check I think my tranny is yellow. I think not to sure!

Mines yellow.

Another time dodge got cheep use whatever they could find. I'm sure a few where off there employees cars lol.
