Both mine ('98) are yellow. One clearly says "Engine Oil" and the other "Trans Fluid".

Went to the dealer and he had a new oil dipstick in stock, and it was identical to mine, numbers matched and the markings on the both new and old stick matched. So does anyone have any advise as to what else could be causing the oil to read high and way past the full mark on the dip stick?

Assembly line conspiracy theory #2
Ran out of 360 dip stick tubes and substituted the much shorter 318 tubes in its place

drain your oil pan as if you were gonna change the oil and measure how much oil comes out. Then put it back in the engine and see if your numbers match.

we don't have one, but the International 4300 takes 36 quarts in the pan, and it was built in the 60s
