2wd lift
just looked on airbagit and they say 2" is max before control arms.....i may go to the alignment shop and get their opinion.......does anyone know how much lift 2500 springs will give in the front? isaw it before but dont remember
it would be cheaper/easier to just get some 1.5" or 2" spacers then new coils. i have seen 1.5" going for $45-50 and 2" for around $70.
in your case with the v8 but reg cab short bed i would just do a 1.5" spacer and some front shocks to match the different ride height get an alignment and you will be pretty much leveled out (with in .5-1" of the rear) i would hate to be in the place of having to much lift and run into other issues and have to get more parts to make everything work.
regardless of new 2500/3500 springs or spacers you will need new shocks.
let us know what the alignment shop says. either they know something and they are really knowledgeable and give you good info or i have talked to some and they think they know all. i have heard some really funny B.S. from some shops thinking they know everything

do you just have the front lifted? how did you do it?......i just measured mine and the front sits at 20" from fender to center and the rear is 21.5"........thats with the rear lowered 2" with shackles......back when i was wantin it lowerd
I put a 1.5in spring spacer from Daystar. Wasn't that hard to install. I got better directions from searching this forum than with the directions that came with it. It only lifted the front. Leveled it out close enough. I don't like the front end higher than my rear when I'm driving, so 1.5 was high enough. It's also very smooth. The polyurethane absorbs alot of the small bumps. But with your shackle drop, your obviously going to have to raise the rear as well.
Alrighty, check it out. Sorry for the lighting. Best I could get tonight.

Pretty noticable. I need bigger tires. But I'm gonna wait. I'm still contemplating on going up another 3 inches with spindles.
