why is that scary?......so the part you had to grind is right below the top strap mount correct? iwas lookin thru your old posts.....did you ever get longer shocks or just those extenders?

you have to take in to consideration that viper's truck is an 01 and the front suspension( (upper control arm, spindle, etc.) is all different, that all changed in 2000,
so just think about that, also if you are worrried about the bump stop grinding thing off, just jack the front of the truck up to see if it will hit( full suspension maxed out)

from the 99 model to the 2000-01 model, didn't dodge just go from a front serviceable bearing to a non serviceable bearing?

did you not add the limit straps to keep the front end from riding to high so you could get it aligned properly? or was it to keep it more level with the rear? or so your control arm/spindle wouldn't hit anything? if i remember you installed 2.5" spacers, right?
