Default Almost turned her on

Well I couldn't figure the rest of the bolts and I figured I would let the truck let me know which ones it wanted heh.

Anyway I got the battery charged poured oil in and go to start it the motor is cranking over as my oil pressure gauge reads me as having pressure but no ignition.

I have already checked and I know I am getting spark, so I am down to either my timing is off or the gas that I had left sitting in it for about a year has gone bad.

Its 15gallons of it too I poured a gallon of super in and some gas treatment, didn't seem to help so I am gonna try some dry gas too.

Also today I am gonna pull the line from the fuel rails and see if gas is actually making it to the motor. If it isn't I am afraid my fears are confirmed and I will have to drain the gas and pull the fuel pump.

Any suggestions on anything else that could cause no ignition?

I prefer dry gas. Wet gas can make such a mess.

Do you hear the fuel pump turn on when you turn the ignition? You should hear it hum in the on position before you start it.

ya just get a can of starting fluid, pop off the air cleaner and spray it in for a few sec, ull know if it will run. and on the fuel pump problem, if it hums it works, but it might not be supplying the right PSI. so might wana check that to

Your old gas could have gummed up you fuel pump and your fuel system. If that is the problem, then take it all out. Use compressed air to get it out of the lines and cross your fingers. I THINK seafoam reverses the gumming affect of gas...so I hear.
