Oh yeah, There was absolutley nothing wrong with the transmission before I adjusted the bands. It shifted like it was brand new.

Why'd you adjust the bands if it shifted fine?

If it ain't broke don't fix it. =)

Talking Trans& TQ & Flex Plate

Should of went with Suncoast full billet trans, thriple disc TQ and Flex plate and that would be the end of it! Just Don't try working on-it your self! Mine ran 7500 custom build and shipped from Fl. to Ca Im not about to throw away 7500 and try to work on it myself!

Yep shoulda went with that one.......1600 or 7500?

You sure don't sound too upset about your dad shelling out another $1600 bucks... Hell, if I were him, you wouldn't be working on it again not because the transmission is new, but because I wouldnt take any costly chances like that.

But thats just my 2 cents.

Heres a better one my dad said when I blow mine up I'm on the shoe leather express and riding big yellow. I know that he is not going to fix it so I'm working a lot more now just waiting for it to go.

my dad would pay to replace my tranny, on the condition that it gives up while im using it for work, in that case PATC Viper
but if it blows up b/c im being an 18 yr old idiot, its all on me
