LOL thats great, reminds me of Northern Indiana/Southern Michigan where i live.

Ive seen a railroad tie used, and get this, a chunk of railroad it self as a rear bumper, along with with other odd stuff including a guy at school constructed a one piece front bumper and grill out of wood.

I've seriously considered replacing my rear bumper with an I-beam cut to length.

How about a weathered fence post wrapped in barbed wire? :P

I haven't been following this for a while, but my brain just randomly vomited that out so I thought I would share.

a friend of mine was telling me about seeing this old guy in a ford swerving off the road and hitting a deer, when he stopped to see if he was ok the old guy said "yeah, see that bumper? thats why its there." he had one of the thick steel pipes in place of his bumper just for getting a free meal. or a free couple of weeks of meals. now thats country.

I saw a '96 S-10 that had an '86(Old style) S-10 bumper on it. At least it was the same color.

Well not that it doesn't sound cool or anything, but an I-beam is rather indestructible unless hit by a train.
