Default Truck bed ski racks

Anybody know if anybody makes one? Something that beats throwing your gear right into the bed, maybe that mounts into the stake pockets? Thanks for the input.

Just get either the ski racks or a box and some 2 X 4's to mount to the bed some how and then mount the racks or box.

if you're not real particular about how it looks, 2x4's, plywood, and bolts make a nice rack thats good for anything.

You could do something like that dude in the early 80's ski movie "Hot Dog". I don't remember exactly how his was. A similar approach would be something like short lengths of PVC tube fixed to bed wall with diameter large enough for the tails to slide in but oriented so that the skis stand straight up would allow the bed to contain other stuff at the same time. Kind of like how some landscaping trucks have a rack built in that allows the rakes shovels etc to stand upright while in transit. There was racks like this built into the old ski patrol lodge where we skied when I was a kid and you could really stuff quite a few pairs of skis into the rack and it took up only a small real estate in the corner of the room.
