Default Throttle body spacer?

I'm thinkin about putting a throttle body spacer on my 2500? few questions; does it mess up the computer? Is it a difficult install (i would think not but you never know until I do it? Will the performance be that greatly increased? Is it a good mod for the money?

Thanks!

I have one. I can't say it gave me a noticable increase, but I'm sure it helps in some way or another. I installed it at the same time as my intake on my truck, so I couldn't tell. Couldn't really hurt anything, anyways. It's dang sure not going to help any if you don't have other mods done, and the more you have, the better it helps. They are super easy to install, but a body lift is probably better than stock, being my intake pretty much touches the body. Make's it a tight fit. If you do decide to get one, don't waste your money on a $90 one, get a Trans-Dapt one or something cheaper. They all accomplish the same thing; price makes no difference. Goodluck!

they supposedly dont do anything because all of our air gathers in the plenum, thus disrupting any gain that would have been achieved

IIRC, it has more to do with the fact that these are port injected, rather than TBI.
