I built a box that replaces the center seat up front, but not sure what you need for airspace to get a 12 to fit. I went with a 10 and it only required a .75' box. Won't know how it sounds till this weekend though, just wrapping it up

That's the link. I honestly went with a down fire because of comments I saw on similar threads to this about how much people liked that style of box. Hoping it sounds good because I love the the stealth of it.

What type of sub do you have?

I built a box just recently that fits two 10's under my backseat. Looks decent and sounds awesome. I'm sure you could incorporate at least one 12 into the backseat. Just takes some time to research and design. Check out "El_Oso" here on DodgeForum. He built one flippin SWEET sub box. He might give you some ideas. Here's mine:

And hutch, your underseat design is freakin' awesome!

Thanks. Also, I second the El_Oso recommendation. I've asked him a ton of questions about my install through pm's.

You could do the center console thing like what hutch is doing, or you could put them under the rear seats, and lastly, if they are slim line you can put them under the driver and passenger seat.

That is one thing I like about a RC truck, all you have to do is just throw them behind the seats.

Looks like you need .8-1.6' for box size if you go sealed. My Kappa was rated around .53-1.0 sealed, with 'ideal' being right in the middle at .75. If they have the FI rated the same way, probably would like to be around 1.2 for box volume. Could be a challenge to get that area with a center console box without it sticking up a couple inches.

This is what I did for my 10" subs. With the right sub you may fit a 12 under there, but with this box my audiopipe subs are barely low enough to fit under there. I only have the one under pass. seat right now but am gonna build the other one for drivers side soon. I like them under here, can't see them at all and they are out of the way and secured to the seat bracing.
