RE: WOW!!!
No pics yet. As for the truck, I have the 5.9. The guy put a single in, dual out Imco stainless exgaust with mandrell 2 1/4" stainless pipes runnig stait out the back. I wasn't sure about the brand but my brother-in-law had him put one on his ram and it sounded awsome. Also, the guy has been doing this for a while now so I gave him a try. Glad I did-truck feels like it can breathe now. I might have to do an intake next.

RE: WOW!!!
cool, you went with the 2.25" dual outs... that's a great setup.
Feel any low end grunt now? remember if you open up the intake too much, you'll loose some of that low end. it's a balancing act to get the way you want it.
52mm Fastman!!! K&N FIPK II w 7x9" filter (have to buy it separately...

Yep, the truck was no slouch to begin with as far as low end torqe, but now it's crazy! So much for good gas milage for a while![:@] Thanks for the intake info steve00ram. I will keep that in mind. This might be a silly question but, the 52mm fastman is the TB upgrade right? Seems like I here alot of you guys talk pretty good about that uprade. What exactly does it improve?

RE: WOW!!!
the 52mm TB is good for overall power across the rpm range (from my point of view anyway) my mpg went up 1.5~2 mpg as well (right before my plenum started leaking). as long as you can keep your foot out of it!! (that's the tough part).
My truck with the mods listed was averaging 14.5 mpg for about a month, then I noticed my power started dropping off and checked the intake and found oil on the bottom of it... [:@], mpg dropped down to 11.8 or so, right now it's lucky to get out of it's own way. it will becoming higher on the priority list of projects in a couple of weeks.

Can you discribe what a leaky plenum looks like in a little more detail. Is it oil covering all the surface? Wet looking?
When I had my TB of, I looked down into the intake. There was some dark material at the bottom of the plenum, but it was confined to a small area about the size of your palm. It had a spatter pattern look to it like someone sneezed into my plenum (best way I can think to describe it). When you look into yours, is that what you see, or do you have wet oil all over the entire bottom? Just trying to figure out if my plenum is leaking too, or if what I see is just normal debris that comes in over time through the TB.
Thanks.

RE: WOW!!!
it looks like oil is being sucked in from the area where the leak is.
here is a couple of links that you can check out... tsb
and the repair from a forum member... plenum install
Also here's where you can get the kit to fix it for good... aps precision click on engine parts, and plenum plates...
