I would like to lower and soften up the chassis on my '96 2wd extended cab ram 1500...I guess the question is this, can I simply install some lighter front springs and take out the short rear leaf to drop and soften up the chassis? I know it is a truck and alot of posts are about hey its a truck not a caddy....sorry guys but this thing is stiff!!! I would be happy to drop the front 2 inches and the rear maybe 3 inches but the end effect has to come with a softer ride. any tips would be great. thanks in advance all.
