I got pre-cuts online, and did exactly what this guy did. IIRC its three part video.

I didn't roll down my windows for 24hrs, and months latter it still looks good. Tucking the film under the seal was new to me, and it worked.

 

i had mine done at the end of winter.. the temps were still cold at night.. therefore they said to keep the windows up for a least 2 weeks and park in direct sunlight for those 2 wks almost a year later and not a problem in sight!

 

I used a credit card also but i would have prefered the squeegee. where did you get precut's from? that comepany?

true dat. but this is difficult (was for my first time at least). Got to have patients and plenty, plenty of soap water solution. i put mine in about a quarter inch.

 

You can get em at most online shops. I would try to stay away form the cheap ebay ones. I went here paid a little more for the Madico tints, Madico tints have been around for years. Worth it for quality tints.

 

Well maybe you dont really need a window tinting expert on this forum. I have been in this business since 1982 and have more than 30,000 installs to date. I havent read every post to tell if there is someone here that can really answer any tinting related question, or help with a problem members may have.....so....Excuse me for trying to contribute what I can.....If reviving "old" posts is a nono, please inform me and I will ignore them. Sorry for being the new guy...

 

precuts on ebay very cheap, use a hair dryer maybe? speed the process up!

 

It isn't that hard to roll the rubber seal down enough so that the film will lay under it.


It's not that we don't want ya here man, but reviving old threads like this is really pointless unless you have a legit question that follows the same trend as the thread.
