The tie rod eyelet snapped off the driver spindle (or knuckle) of my 00 Dodge 1500. Is there a way to remove it without removing the axle? I got the axle nut off and the bearing out. But it will not drop enough to take it off the axle housing. Either I need to cut the ball joints or take the axle out. Is there another way?
