Body lift?? Yes or NO??
I bought a 2001 ram 5.9 4x4 . I know nothing about it. Ive been told i have a 2.5 lvl kit on it. Tire size are 265/75/16. Im wanting to put 35's on. Do i need a body lift? Ive been told that a body lift aint all that noticeable on it. what do you guys think? The truck below is the truck!!
That truck does not look like it has a 2.5 in leveler on it... look above the front coil spring, is there a round block between the frame mount and the rubber pad above the spring?? It really just doesnt look like there is 2.5 in leveler on it, because I have a 2.5 in level on mine, and a 1.5 in add a leaf in the rear and my back end still sits just barely higher than my front end...
I agree that there is no 2.5 leveling kit on it. and to run 35's i would look into a suspention lift instead of a body lift. body lift's throw off the center of gravity and you get twice the body roll while turning on a stock suspention. also look into 4:56 gears for 35's. oh and welcome to DFalso

Thats a false statement. A body lift only lifts the body, while a suspension lift lifts everything above the axles, which means more weight is raised with a suspension lift than with a body lift... which in return would mean the center of gravity would be higher on a suspension lift then a body lift. But, when talking about 3" it is so minute anyway that it really is even noticable.
