hey guys, im thinking of sand blasting and doing some rust prevent. on my frame. Def will be a work in progress, work from back to front. Hopefully i will be able to do a write-up. Im about to order some POR-15 online, but how much do you guys think i will need? Probably will do my rear axle while ive got the bed and components off. Maybe order a gallon and 2 qts?

2 qt POR15 & 1qt Metal Ready is enough to do the frame, axles & diff

If your spraying the POR15, you will need more. I thinned it a bit and used a roller, as well as a brush for the tight areas.
FYI, if you get any on yourself and it dries, it will be with you till it wears off

POR-15 is more or less intended to be applied right on top of existing rust. It doesn't really like to stick to bare metal. If you're going to be sandblasting things, you won't have any rust left for it to stick to. My recommendation would be to contact POR-15 directly and ask them what you should do.

It will stick to bare metal as long as you wash it with Metal Ready. Its a zinc phosphate etch
