Probably gets sick of us talking about modifying our stock intake manifolds, and our 14x3 air cleaners, and little cheese dick upgrades lol. Most of the guys that do any real modifications to their trucks on here do them in the form of suspension lifts and big tires, ring and pinion gear changes, and lockers. Not to many build their engines for performance.

Thats is because of the huge cost involved. But its worth it I'm sure.

You want to make a dodge ram fast? Hope you have atleast $5K in the bank account. This is also assuming you do all the work yourself.

- all motor kit from KRC performance (400hp) - $4300
- supercharger (350 hp) - $4500
- upgraded tranny - $1000 - 3500
- better rear end - $600
- upgraded brakes - $500 - 1500
- tuning - $500
- misc. things (injectors, wires and plugs, etc) - $600

Pretty soon that $3k truck has $7k put into it...

wow thanks for all the replys guys. I know what you mean about people lifting there trucks and doing the whole off road scene. It seems like it really took off lately. Idk im more into the race scene. I just wanna show people that a truck can be just as fast as a TA Camaro or a Mustang. Idk maybe its just me. I guess itll just be a project then. Ill have some pics up tomorrow for you all to check out. Thanks for all the replys guys!
