just had my head & intake gaskets replaced on my '97 Ram 5.2. was charged for a "intake gasket set". would this include the much discussed plenum gasket??? shop that did work is gone on vacation this week (must be nice) so can't ask them.

 

I kinda doubt it. There are gaskets that go between the intake and heads. There's also 2 rubber ones that go on the front and back of the engine.

 

the intake kit that i got when i replaced my rod had the choice of just the lower, the upper or both....they shouldve went ahead and replaced it, but prob not unless they know of the issues with the plenum
