How many miles are on the truck? Could be a O2 sensor. Getting any type of codes?

Just sayin', ! A lot of people don't like the performance over time as opposed to the truck plug.

i've got the bosche platinum +4 on mine and i like them. i have put about 40000 miles on them and they're still good, look like brand new. i tried the champion truck plugs and lost about 1 mpg. the +4s have a .065 gap preset and they say not to adjust the gap.

The +4s run to hot for our engines. They are designed for European car engines, not our American V8s.

Installed new champion copper OE plugs gapped to .04. checked all the MSD wires could the problem be 8.5mm-too big? haven't gotten the o2 sensor off yet, sprayed some wd40 on it and just letting it set in...where does the o2 sensor plug into...can't seem to locate the female plug

thanks

it should be pretty close to that area...just look in that vicinity for the female plug and you should find it.
