If you go to a trans shop you can get an A518 (46RE or 46RH) rebuild book. I have also seen it on here once before, but I kinda stumbled across it and have no idea where it is located at.

At the trans shop I went to it was about $25 for the book. It gives a lot of detailed pics and kinda steps you through it.

Several years back I had a video tape and book on Turbo 400/350 that took you step by step on disassembly and reassembly along with trouble shooting. Think they came from a CA company. This is probably not much help, but they must be out there somewhere for you tranny.

The "merry Christmas" thread has a FSM on a 01 ram that has a lot of info about rebuilding the tranny. It goes into great detail.

46re rebuild manual on Ebay

I followed the advice here and ordered this book, I am all for PDFs, but I still prefer to have the whole book in my hand, rather than printouts.
