Default Long tubes

Pacesetter offers quik-trip long tubes for my our rams. I have an '01 5.2l 4x4 and these are the only long tubes i have found that fit the 4x4. Does anyone have any experience with these? (not shorties) how hard is installation?

Another thing, they come into a 3 inch collector. With a 5.2, is 3 inch true duals a little to much? I remember reading that 3 inch single or 2.5 inch dual is best for these engines. I was thinking of running these headers reduced into 2.5 inch true duals. They come with o2 fittings so i would run 2 o2 sensors up front and get a tune to delete the rear one. Would this set up work. What is everyone running with long tubes, if anyone has any? either 5.9 or 5.2 advice welcome.

Thanks,
OlRed

3 in duals would be a little much.......3 in single is about perfect.......if you are gonna run duals, put in an x or an h to help with your lowend, then put your front o2 sensor in there and geta sim for your back

3" single or 2.5" dual is good for a mid-high rpm 5.9. a low rpm 5.2 would be better off with a 2.25" dual or maybe even 2" although that sounds pretty small.

Headers to a "Y" pipe, then fake duals? That wouldn't make any sense...

If your talking to me, for some reason I thought neon had bought the LT's and the 3" pacesetter y pipe and then had the 3" magnaflow cat. Then yes prob fake duals. He prob used the single in dual out super 44 muffler like I had. I could be wrong but I thought that was his setup.
