For the turbo, yes in fact here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STS-0...Q5fAccessories
Then you need a fully open programmer like SCT: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SCT-D...4506.m20.l1116
Then you are going to need injectors: http://www.jegs.com/i/Venom/735/648-272/10002/-1 Not the right size, but just for reference.
So yea to do a forced induction right, its going to cost some greens.
Total for the references? TOTAL: $7,830.19

Meh, it will still be about the same. Especially after you buy all the extra supplies to make every thing fit right.

That is just the turbo though. You still need injectors, a programmer, all the plumbing, an intercooler.... etc etc...

Well ether way you go your looking at building a motor, and in all reality it's only about another grand to build a 408 compared to a 360. So I would say build the 408 with low compression so if it's still not enough you can add a boost to it
This doesn't sound like a bad idea, but from what I'm seeing, the added boost is gonna cost me quite a bit. That would have to be even further down the road, but in the mean time, the low compression 408 would still be fun. Does anybody know what torque could be expected from it without boost?

Dollar for dollar, the added boost seems like it would be more costly than just building up the 408, even though the built up 408 wouldn't have as much power than the low compression with boost, but would've cost much less over all. I'm not throwing out the idea, but just looking at overall cost for the power returns.

I also wouldn't want to over-build the 408 to get every bit of possible power because wouldn't reliability / longevity would go way down? I do like the thought of the added turbo boost would give me a little better fuel mileage than without it along with the added power. Good food for thought...

Man, it's going to be very easy to get caught up in making more and more power! It's starting to look like an addiction... I have to keep my head straight and keep my ultimate goal in mind with how I drive my truck. On second thought, maybe I would be driving it differently if I had the power to do so...

From all the numbers I've run in desk top dyno, a 408 can give you right around 100 ftlb more torque than stock. So what this means is if you kept the stroker motor at the same compression ratio as stock and used the stock cam, heads and other stock components you will get an extra 100 ftlb of torque over stock. Now by chaning out the cam and head and doing all the other performance stuff your going to see more power. You can check my 408 build at https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...-has-come.html
