I thought about installing one on my next truck, but the idea didn't really grab me because of warranties on a new vehicle. They say the turbo system can be converted back to stock in an hour, but changing the injectors would be a little different.
There is a 3rd Gen guy that has this set up on his hemi.
Let me find the thread......
Ah, Here: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...-a-1500-a.html
The guy is kenihemi, but It looks like he hasnt been active since October...
I would say it is going to be along the same lines for a magnum motor...
You can also shoot STS an email, and they will send out the specs, costs things like that...

Here is one in a 99 Ram

Well ether way you go your looking at building a motor, and in all reality it's only about another grand to build a 408 compared to a 360. So I would say build the 408 with low compression so if it's still not enough you can add a boost to it, and personally I would stay away from the sts or like system, your intake is on the bottom side of your 4x4 truck. Your going to be sucking up all the rocks and water that your tires kick up from the road. Besides you got to run a supply and return oil line for the turbo and all the other pipes for the intake and exhaust.

Yes, plumbing will be "fun", but the air intake piping can always be modified to be somewhere else. Really wouldn't be that big of a deal. Also, if a system like STS were going to be used, there will be a TON of piping that someone would have to get creative with. STS does not make a true bolt on kit for the second gen trucks. They make a universal kit that has to be modified to your application.

Perhaps RM_Indy will chime in, but here's what I believe to be correct.
Stroke it for a DD torque monster. You'll get a lot more torque even at idle.
Super chargers aren't typically setup to produce boost until you move up in the RPMs. Superchargers are a bit better MPG wise, but you're gonna shell out at Least $4000 to do it right. Maybe $2500 to do a solid stroker with some pretty high quality parts.

I have really played with the idea of doing it to my next truck, but damn I don't know how I would react the first time I blew something up. I have some mechanical knowledge, not the most, but some. I don't know what I would do. Thank god my father is an ASE certified technician, and has been building hot rods all his life. I am kinda playing with the idea of when I purchase a new truck, that I will keep this one to make a week end toy out of... (If a damn 5.4L Ford can win the bracket tournament, I think I can too
