Default Blower motor noise

Ok, so anytime my fan is operating for the climate control, whether it be A/C, vent, heat, or anything I get an intermittent "grr" noise, about every 30 seconds. What would this be from? It's getting really annoying as it's been raining on I can't keep the windows down. Also, my A/C doesn't blow cold, but I think that may need a recharge, so I'll hold off on that for now. But any thoughts on the fan/blower motor noise?

It's going bad or it is possible that you have some debris like leaves or pine needles in there for instance.

This used to happen to me all the time because of the pine tree I used to always park under. Pine needles would get sucked up and end up inside the fan.

The fan is right inside the pass side footwell. It's only 3 or 4 bolts to remove it. Cleaning it out should fix the problem unless you've got a problem somewhere else.

Also while you have it open, use an air compressor and blow some air through your vent system. This will help remove straggler debris as well as dust and things that are in there.

if its not debris in there it could be the bearings in the fan, you could open it up and give it a shot of wd-40 to see if it shuts it up.

I wouldnt advice WD-40. It becomes part of the problem only after a short period of time. It will get sticky and take him back to square one.

Use a silicon/teflon based lubricant, or a "dry" lubricant.
