Default automatic fold up runningboard/nerf bars

So was looking at them there power steps for my pickup.

Has anyone put these on there rig?
Do they work well in snow?
Is install a B!@#$ ?

The price is like $1500 is that worth the price?

I dont really need steps, I can get in my truck fine. i would use them if i had them but not needed.

Its a daily driver and i have a passenger usually everyday and they need something to use to get up in the truck.

I dont want to put regulare bars on it. I put a 5 inch lift on it, i dont want to lower it 3-4 inches for some running boards

I think I'm going to get a set of those. Ive seen them in person, but I dont have any personal hands on experience. Some look to me like theyll eventually break. Some of the ones I've seen flex a lot. But yea I want some to replace the fixed running boards I do have. Looks alot better without them.
