Yep sure dose. IDK if I'm sold on them. I want it in front of that cat not behind.

I just skimmed the thread so sorry if I am just repeating what someone already said. The flowmaster is not the "flow master" at all the 40 and 50 series will actually cause the hemi to lose 5-10hp.

You sir, prove my point. People either love FM products, or they hate them. I could see though on an MDS HEMI that it could cause some loss in power though.

It depends on how long ago the complaints were and what exactly the complaints were. In this case, it looks like he took a big break from eBay for a while. But if you have five thousand feedback ratings or fifteen, if your most recent several are bad bad bad, I probably will think twice before buying something from ya.

And in this case, it looks like the people had legitimate complaints, and he didn't even respond to their complaints, so that pretty much is an admittance of guilt in my book.

Flowmaster has some loud mufflers and some quiet mufflers. The 50 series, for example, tends to be a little quiet. The Super 44 series seems to be pretty loud, and then there's the 10 series, which is about as loud as straight pipes but with the Flowmaster sound. The Super 40 is a little quieter than the Super 44, but you can still hear it when you want it to be heard. There are also other units I'm not familiar with, but my point is, they make all sorts.

Magnaflows aren't bad, may even flow a little better than normal Flowmaster mufflers. The Super series (40 and 44) are supposed to be improved Flowmasters with improved flow, but I have no idea if its true or not.

In our trucks, I've read the end result is mere percentage points of power difference when comparing the different brands of performance mufflers. I like my Flowmaster Super 44. When it rusts out, I may try a Magnaflow, since its easily available in my area. We'll see.
