Default Free parts truck, parts swap.

A buddy of mine owns a junk yard and he just got a wrecked 99 1500 and he said I could come get watever I want off it before he sells parts. I just wanted to know if some parts will just switch over to my 97 1500. What I want to get from him is a headlight switch, a steering box, and all the seats. Will these parts swap right over?? Thanks in advance.
Ben

see if your buddy is willing to sell the drum backing plates from the rear end.

Also see about the carrier, shipping won't be a problem as both parts will fit in a $13 pre-paid mailer (where weight doesn't matter). I need the backing plates bad, and I can never find them.

damnit. I wanted to replace my hl switch with the 99+ turn/pull switch, and swap the foglight switch area for the little cubbyhole. Is there any way to do this or no?
