Anyhow, 170,000 on one, 107,000 on another, and 75,000 on the last. those 318s just don't stop. pretty much the only ones been serviced regularly has been the one with 75 on the clock, but the other two don't show any signs of age. Thus, im my opinion, I think those 318s are great and to swap one for a 360 for that extra 20-30 horsepower just isn't worth it especially if you're not certain of the condition of that 360 to begin with. you didn't mention any history on it, so I can only guess that its used and likely has it's own issues.

Really want some extra juice? Drop a grand into that 318 you got. Roller Rockers, performance ignition coil and capacitor, fastman throttle body, fresh tune up with indexed plugs of coarse, and full synthetic lubes all around with some lucas in it. That little 318 will scream...
